Professor Baeuerle is co-founder of six MPM oncology portfolio companies. In 2019, Professor Baeuerle received the "X of the Year Award" from Xconomy and the Lennart Philipson Award from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in recognition of his many contributions to the development of cancer immunotherapies. He has a Hirsh Index of 130 and has been ranked in the top 0.01% of most cited scientists (Stanford study by Ioannides et al., 2019).
